Sayaka defines her works “decorations” and she is working with this attitude for the last 20 years.
She grew up in the rich nature and polytheism belief of Kyoto’s countryside and majored in Ceramic in Kyoto City University of Arts. She considers decoration indispensable to human beings, it proves culture histories and ancient emotions.
Her creations are connected to Japanese Mithology. While touching the clay and seeking her imagination, the shapes of human bodies, plants, animals and inorganic materials appeared naturally.

Sayaka definisce le sue opere "decorazioni" e lavora con questo atteggiamento da 20 anni.
È cresciuta nella ricca natura e nel politeismo della campagna di Kyoto e si è laureata in ceramica all'Università delle Arti della sua città natale. Considera la decorazione indispensabile per gli esseri umani, in quanto prova di cultura e antiche emozioni.
Le sue creazioni sono collegate alla mitologia giapponese. Toccando l'argilla e cercando la sua immaginazione, le forme di corpi umani, piante, animali e materiali inorganici appaiono naturalmente.
