Omar Fabbri, despite having carried out technical studies, has always been an excellent reader. Horror literature, mystery and adventure novels marked his adolescence in an unequivocal way. As well as reading, he almost immediately felt the need to write something of his own, something not for himself but for others, the simple pleasure of telling a story. In the years from 2000 to 2010 he attended several courses in creative writing, participated in an exhibition of sculpture alongside the works of some poems taken from his collection "Tears of Cain". A prolific writer, among his numerous writings he published the collection of short stories "Surrealism of Black Tales", the novel "Choose a Card" and "Eleven - Crimes Beyond the Veil". Among the most influential authors for him we report: Ambrose Gwinnett Bierce, Charles Dickens, Clive Barker, Edgard Allan Poe, Ernest Hemingway, Franz Kafka, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, Jeffery Deaver, Raymond Thornton Chandler, Robert Bloch, Robert William Chambers, Samuel Dashiell Hammett, Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle, Stephen King, Thomas Harris, William Hjortsberg.

Omar Fabbri pur avendo svolto studi tecnici è sempre stato un ottimo lettore. La letteratura horror, il giallo e il romanzo d’avventura segnano in maniera inequivocabile la sua adolescenza. Parimenti alla lettura sente quasi subito il bisogno di scrivere qualcosa di suo, qualcosa non per sé stesso ma per gli altri, il semplice piacere di raccontare una storia. Negli anni dal 2000 al 2010 frequenta diversi corsi di scrittura creativa, partecipa ad una mostra di scultura affiancando alle opere alcune poesie tratte dalla sua raccolta “Lacrime di Caino”. Scrittore prolifico pubblica fra i suoi numerosi scritti la raccolta di racconti “Surrea- lismo di Racconti Neri”, il romanzo “Scegli una Carta” e “Eleven – Delitti Oltre il Velo”.
