Paul Boese è un fine osservatore che si integra silenziosamente con l’ambiente circostante. Per lui disturberemo, dai tomi di filosofia greca e di critica letteraria contemporanea, il concetto di mimesi, intesa come imitazione della forma ideale della realtà. Ha vissuto in da house durante il suo Erasmus presso l’ISIA - Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche di Faenza - realizzando dentro queste mura una serie di acrilici su tela sospesi tra realismo e astrazione. Combo piccante risultato del suo background nel mondo dei graffiti in dialogo costante con la sua essenza di designer.

Opere assolutamente inedite fino a questa mostra, perchè fisicamente confiscate, con la promessa dal sapore di minaccia che le avrebbe riviste solo se fosse tornato in da house per esporle negli spazi della Another Fucking Gallery. Promessa mantenuta, anzi, promessa denominata NOTAUSGANG, termine tedesco che suggerisce la ricerca di un’uscita di emergenza.

For him we’ll disturb the concept of mimesis from volumes of Greek philosophy and contemporary literary criticism, meaning imitation of the ideal form of reality. He lived in da house during his Erasmus at the ISIA Faenza, Institute for Artistic Industries, creating within these walls a series of acrylics on canvas conveying realism and abstraction. Spicy combo result of his graffiti background in constant dialogue with his designer essence.

The works are completely unpublished, because they were physically confiscated, with the threatening promise that he would only see them again only if he returned to the house to exhibit them in the spaces of the Another Fucking Gallery. This promise was kept, and indeed named NOTAUSGANG, a German term suggesting the search for an emergency exit.
